Jonni Parker

Munciana Indy Director

• 4rd year with Munciana
• Carmel High School Head Coach (2024)
• Played for Munciana Samurai for three years, 2016-2018, National Champions 2017
• In 2017 she was selected to the Under Armour All-American 1st team
• In 2018 she was the Ohio Gatorade Player of the Year
• Played at Penn State University and was a 4-time All-American. At the end of her senior year she was awarded a Big Ten Medal of Honor, for excellence on and off the field at Penn State. This award has a 107 year tradition 
• Founder of Chasing Greatness, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and generate funds for the D/deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

• Abby is the Head Coach at Heritage Christian High school (2022-Present). She has also an assistant coach at Bethel University for their 2021 season. 
• She attended Bethel University and played all four years as a middle and opposite. She was a captain for 2 years and NCCAA National Champion in 2020. Abby is a graduate from Valparaiso High School where she played volleyball as a middle. 
• Abby and her husband, Nick have a daughter (Charlie) and their dog Bentley. 
• She loves to stay active, hang out with her family, cook, and binge read a good book.

Victoria Pierson

John Feeney

• Over 15 years of coaching experience at various levels and programs including coaching positions at Cathedral High Schools boys’ and girls’ programs (Assistant coach for Cathedrals 2006 Girls State Championship), MSD of Washington Township (Eastwood Middle School), Greenfield Central High School, and Fishers Cubs 
• John played four years of volleyball at Cathedral High School (1999 and 2001 Boys State Champions) and four years at Indiana University. 
• John teaches Business at Riverside Junior High 
• John is married to Shelley, who teaches art in HSE, and they have 3 daughters: Ainsley, Harper, and Emerson 
• Provides youth individual and group training lessons 
• John enjoys traveling with his family, playing sports, watching his daughters’ sporting events, and spending time outside with friends and family.   

Heather Lyon

14 Open Otters HC

Heather has been in the gym as long as she can remember. She grew up playing for Munciana and won National Championships in 2000 and 2002, with the 15 Open Slug Bugs and the 17 Open Hokies respectively. Heather continued to play in college on the club team at Ball State University. This is also where she started transitioning into coaching. She coached the Northside Middle School Titans and several Munciana teams. After graduation Heather’s coaching career continued with the Edge Volleyball Club in Chicago. After moving back to Indianapolis she has coached with Bishop Chatard High School since 2013 as the JV Coach, Varsity Assistant, and is now Head Varsity Coach as of 2019. During her time with Bishop Chatard, Heather has also worked with the Junior Trojans Volleyball Club as a coach and an administrator. When Munciana Indy opened, she coached one year as the assistant to the 15 Open Moana and then took on the head coaching position for the 14 Open Otters in 2019. When she isn’t on the court Heather enjoys adventures with her husband, Noah, and their Golden Retrievers, Hazy and JoJo. Those adventures usually involve a stop at Starbucks, and a quest to find the best cake in town.

Jamie Morris

A graduate from New Palestine High School, Jamie attended University of Indianapolis. After college, Jamie coached club in Indianapolis before joining Munciana Indy. She has been with the club for 6 years and since the first season. Jamie also has coached JV at New Palestine and is now the varsity assistant. She has been with the program for 7 years.

Jamie played at Munciana growing up and has loved coming back to coach.

Outside of volleyball, Jamie is an X-ray technologist and loves to spend time with her two golden retrievers, Zeke and Sunnie.

• Kim studied and played on the volleyball team at IUPUI
• Coach Baker is a Doctor of Natural Health at Rivers Edge Natural Health and Wellness in Noblesville 
• Certified Craniosacral Fascia Therapist
• Licensed IHSAA official
• Kim is married to her husband, Wes, and together they have 6 children: Phoebe, Brian, Brady, Maddy, Peyton, and Lindsay
• Kim’s daughter, Maddy, is also a Munciana coach (Munciana Yorktown Phoenix)
• Leads Munciana Indy 12U youth training sessions and group lessons
• Kim enjoys traveling with her husband and playing and coaching volleyball with her daughter. She loves photography, cooking, flowers, gardening, and spending quality time with her family. Coaching is a passion of hers, and she is grateful to have had so many wonderful coaching opportunities over the years!

  • Played Division I indoor and beach volleyball at Austin Peay State University where her team won 3 OVC indoor championships and 1 OVC beach championship.

-If Ashley isn’t coaching, she’s likely weightlifting, finding the best new restaurant around town to go with her husband and kids or girlfriends, or adventuring outside when Indiana weather cooperates.
