2024 MUNCIANA (Yorktown) Tryouts & Registration Information 

Welcome to the Munciana Volleyball Club (Yorktown) and the 2024 club season. Register today (Registration will remain open until the evaluation period is over) and attend our Extended Evaluation Period in November. If you are interested in our 10-14s tryouts, registration is open and we will see you on September 17th. Additional information, including tuition and payments plans can be viewed above.

NEW this year, families will pay a set tuition amount. This includes all clubs fees. The only additional required fees for participation will be AAU and/or USAV membership fees. 

As always, we are excited about the upcoming season. The club season provides athletes the opportunity to develop their game. The success of our club revolves around athletes with high expectations and a great work ethic and a coaching staff that is committed to teaching fundamentals and establishing a culture of excellence.

Tryout Dates for Munciana 10s-14s     

• Tryout Dates: September 17 & 24
• Times. *10-11U only has one tryout each day and 12U/13U & 14U have two sessions each day.
• 10U & 11U: 12-1:30pm 
• 12U & 13U: 1:30-3 & 4:30-6pm 
• 14U: 3-4:30 & 6-7:30pm 
• Team Announcement: Wednesday, September 27 @ 5pm
• Parent & Team Meeting: October 1 @ 6pm
• Preseason Season Training: Monday/Wednesday, October 9 thru November 20.
• Practices Start December

• Extended Evaluation Period: November 5 – November 21 (5,7,9,14,16,19, 21)
  • 15/16U: 5 – 6:30PM (TUESDAY/THURSDAY) 1-2:30PM (SUNDAY)
  • 17/18U: 6:30 – 8PM (TUESDAY/THURSDAY) 2:30-4PM (SUNDAY)
  • November 12: OFF DAY
• Announce Teams: Friday, November 24 @ Noon
• Parent & Team Meetings, First Preseason Practice: November 28              
• 15U & 16U: 5-6:45pm
• Parent & Team Meetings: 6:45-7:15pm
• 17U & 18U: 7:15-9pm
• Team Practices: Start December  

What is the Extended Evaluation Period? 

• The opportunity to honestly evaluate an athlete in a true practice setting. 
• The chance to gauge an athlete’s work ethic, commitment and focus in a prolonged practice setting. 
• It values an athlete’s potential improvement during the high school season. 

Registration for Munciana 15-18s is OPEN!

Registration Process 

• Registration is open for ALL age divisions. 
• Athletes register on PlayerFirst.
• Part of the registration process will include registering with AAU, signing waivers and a club contract. 

Which Age Group Do I Try Out For?  

18 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2005 
17 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006 
16 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007 
15 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008 
14 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009 
13 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010 
12 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011 
11 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012 
10 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013 

*It is expected that players will try out in the age group they belong.
