He now competes on the beach as well as the hard court, touring the country with fellow Munciana Boys coach Nathaniel Berg, playing on the AVP qualifying circuit
Coaching Career
KO’s passion for coaching began at Cathedral High School as a three-year manager for the women’s volleyball program
Under the tutelage of Coach John Kesterson, Sr., his love for the game took off from the first time he helped run a practice
Joined the Muncie Burris coaching staff as a varsity assistant in 2011 and helped the team achieve top rankings in the state in multiple seasons
Served as an assistant for Munciana 15-1, 17-1, and 18-1 teams
Finished 9th and 2nd at nationals
Athletes earned dozens of all-America honors and collegiate scholarships
After returning from his playing career, Kevin joined Vision Volleyball Club as the 17-1 assistant (and later head) coach
Has served as the Munciana Boys Director since 2019, coaching the 18-1 Raptors for the last three seasons
